ルンツィ県：面積—約2,900平方ｋｍ
北方をチベットと接し、過ってはチベットとの重要な交易ルートであったが、中印紛争の後閉じられた。ルンツィはキシュタラに代表される織物で有名である。特にコマ村やゴンパ・カルポ村ではあちこちに小屋がけの織場があり、織姫たちが数人づつのグループに別れ、織っているのが見られる。車道の終点から北のほうへ歩いて２～３日のところに、現王家発祥の地、ドゥンカルがある。

It is famous for its traditional textile such as KISHTARA. Weavers, mainly young girls, are working in groups to produce those textiles. Small textile factories are scattered here and there notably in the villages of KOMA and GOMPA.About 2 or 3 days walk to North from the end of motor way will bring you to DUNKAL, where the present Royal Family is from.
