| 日本ブータン友好協会が設立されたのは1981年。学術研究や外交の分野でブータンと深いつながりのあった川喜田二郎、桑原武夫、東郷文彦、中尾佐助、中根千枝、西堀栄三郎（敬称略・五十音順）といった方々が発起人でした。 |
| The Japan- Bhutan Friendship Association has founded
in 1981, by KAWAKIDA Jiro, KUWABARA Takeo, TOGO Fumihiko,
NAKAO Sasuke, NAKANE Chie, and NISHIHORI Eizabro (omitting
titles, in Japanese alphabetical order), who had deep connection
with Bhutan in various fields such as academic and foreign
diplomacy. |

Our Aim is to promote further friendly relationships
